Abstract

The following species are presented as new records of insect predators of the pear psylla, Psylla pyricola Förster, in British Columbia: Anthocoris nemoralis (F.), Campylomma verbasci (Meyer), Deraeocoris brevis piceatus Knight, D. fasciolus Knight, Diaphnocoris provancheri (Burque), Adalia frigida Schn., Calvia duodecemmaculata Gebl., Coccinella transversoguttata Fald., Hippodamia quinquesignata Kirby, Platypalpus sp. near pluto Mel., Hemerobius pacificus Banks. The biologies of some of the most common predators of the pear psylla are briefly discussed.
