Insects and mites associated with fresh cattle dung in the southern interior of British Columbia

Sixty-seven species or genera of insects were found associated with fresh cattle dung in the southern Interior of British Columbia. Three species of mites were associated with two of the insect species. About one-half of the species of Coleoptera and Diptera concerned are known or thought to be introduced.References
